Our Projects
Real jobs, real photos — the work below is ours, and where another trade did part of a job, we say so.
Whole-Home Fire Rebuild — Galt
A kitchen fire gutted this Galt home, taking the electrical system with it — wiring melted in the walls, the kitchen destroyed. The homeowners rebuilt, and MH Electrical Services handled the electrical from rough-in to the last trim plate.
We ran the new circuits, set recessed lighting throughout, hung the pendants and ceiling fans, and finished the kitchen with under-cabinet lighting — permitted, inspected, and switched on room by room as the rebuild came together.
Scope: full-home rewire, recessed lighting, kitchen pendants and under-cabinet lighting, ceiling fans, outlets and switches throughout.
River Islands Addition — Lathrop
This River Islands family added living space, and the new rooms needed power and light to match the rest of the home. We wired the addition from open framing to finished room.
Recessed lighting, outlets and switches throughout, and a ring-light ceiling fan as the centerpiece — the finished space opens to the lake view and works like it was always there.
Scope: addition wiring, recessed lighting, outlets and switches, ceiling fan with ring light.
Panel Upgrade, 100A to 200A — Stockton
The old 100-amp meter main on this Stockton home was out of room and out of date. We replaced it with a new 200-amp Eaton meter main — solar-ready, with space to grow.
Every circuit was re-labeled, surge protection added at the panel, and the job passed City of Stockton inspection. The home is ready for the EV charger, the AC, and whatever comes next.
Scope: 100A to 200A service upgrade, new meter main, circuit labeling, surge protection, permit and inspection.
Backyard Power — Mountain House
This Mountain House backyard had big plans and no power. We ran conduit and installed pedestal outlets around the yard — GFCI-protected with weatherproof in-use covers, each one tested correct.
The installation passed city inspection the same day. Outlets where the project needed them, protected the way outdoor power should be.
Scope: conduit run, backyard pedestal outlets, GFCI protection, testing, permit and inspection.
Trenching by the homeowner's landscaping contractor; all electrical work by MH Electrical Services.
Panel Rescue — San Jose
A previous installer put in this San Jose home's panel without a permit — and it showed: chafed conductors at the entry, heat-damaged cables buried in the wall, breakers unlabeled. The homeowner called us to make it right.
We removed the failed install, fit a new meter main, repaired and re-stuccoed the wall, and finished the job the way it should have been done the first time — to code.
Scope: removal of unpermitted panel, new meter main installation, wall repair and stucco, circuit restoration.
What we found: the previous installer’s panel (not our work).
Sauna Power — Brentwood
A backyard barrel sauna needs serious, safe power. We ran the circuit for this Brentwood sauna — conduit in, heater wired, and voltage verified at the unit before the first session.
Dedicated power, weatherproof routing, and everything tested — so the sauna is the only thing heating up.
Scope: dedicated sauna circuit, conduit run, heater connection, voltage testing.
